What is anti-bacterial technology?

We use a couple of different methods to make anti-bacterial bristles. All of the materials used in anti-bacterial process are non-toxic and safe to environment.

Why do bacteria grow in the makeup brush?

When you use makeup brushes on the face, cosmetics and dead skin from the face gets mixed up and all the residues remaining on the bristle can lead to bacterial growth. Bdellium tools minimize the bacterial growth utilizing our anti-bacterial technology. However, to insure the longevity of our anti-bacterial technology, proper maintenance is still required. This means washing your brushes with regularity.

How do I know that anti-bacterial makeup brushes work?

All of our bristles are pre-tested and certified from the dedicated laboratory before the actual production. We guarantee our anti-bacterial property and stand behind our product.

What type of hair do you use in the brushes?

All of Bdellium Tools natural hair bristles are either Pony or Goat hair. We DO NOT use any exotic animal's fibers (sable, squirrel, weasel, badger, etc). NO ANIMAL CRUELTY is involved in the production of any of our tools.

How do I maintain the life of my brushes?

In order to sustain the life of the brushes, you must clean them. Mix warm water and baby shampoo then soak any used makeup brushes in this solution. Rub shampoo on the bristles until it lathers. Rinse and lay the brush flat on an absorbent towel to dry.

What is the difference between your "Studio Line" and "Travel Line"?

The only difference between these two lines is the length of the handles. The Travel Line, bearing a shorter handle, allows for a more portable & compact usage. All other aspects of the brushes are identical, from the production of the brushes to the materials used.
