We all want to achieve a flawless makeup, but sometimes we end up with the opposite effect. One common culprit is HD powder. You may have seen those embarrassing pictures of celebrities with white cast on their faces. Don't worry, it's not the end of the world, and we're here to help you avoid it. |
HD powders are made entirely of silica, which reflects light. They give off the white cast that we want to avoid when applied to dry skin and photographed with a flash. That doesn't mean you should avoid them entirely. The trick is to use these powders sparingly and in moist areas, such as the T-Zone, where we tend to get oily. This allows the powder to dissolve into the skin and eliminates the risk of flashback. |
We recommend using our 959 Powder Blending Brush to achieve the desired effect. This brush has a full, rounded shape that is ideal for evenly applying powder and blending it into the skin. Its soft bristles pick up just the right amount of product without leaving behind excess powder, making it ideal for achieving a natural and flawless look. |
When it comes to HD powders, remember that less is more. Apply them sparingly in the areas that require it, and you'll be camera-ready in no time. |
